Welcome to Alleyn’s Hampstead

At the heart of our offer is a holistic education across our excellent academic offer, a full and varied co-curricular programme and proactive pastoral care. We live our ethos of ‘All We Can Be’, which supports our pupils to be kind, happy, inspired and, having ‘found their thing’, ready to lead and to make a positive difference in the world.

Alleyn's Hampstead Open Days

We invite you to our next open date on:

Nursery and Junior Open Morning - 18th September 2026 9.30am

Senior School Open Day - 10th October 2026 9.15am

We look forward to welcoming you to Alleyn’s Hampstead to learn more about our vision and what an Alleyn’s education has to offer for ages 2–18.

We are proud that our school is a place where children love learning and strive to achieve academically in a well-rounded and inspiring curriculum, based on our school learning dispositions. There are opportunities for children to think and go beyond the traditional curriculum everyday through Aspiring Minds – our speaker and academic enrichment programme. This rich curriculum, from Mathematics to Photography, gives children the opportunity to combine the rigour of traditional subjects with the practical skills and tech confidence they will need for the modern world. Our own AiQ curriculum (Alleyn’s Intelligence Quotient) prepares our pupils for the future, building an agile understanding of tech along with the intellectual skills and ethical principles to use it in the right way.

If you’re looking for the epicentre of forward-thinking education, here it is – Tatler Schools Guide 2025

Outside the classroom, our children can ‘find their thing’ through a wide range of activities, from sport and the performing arts in our Bear pits to music from rock to classical, model UN and Dungeons & Dragon’s Club. Our ‘All In’ co-curricular programme is designed to promote respect, kindness, and empathy while inspiring a sense of wonder at the world of possibilities open to them – encouraging them to try anything and everything as they live the Alleyn’s motto, All We Can Be.

Alleyn’s Hampstead pupils learn and grow in a happy, nurturing environment, benefiting from the Alleyn’s Emotional Quotient (AEQ) – a pastoral programme designed to support proactive wellbeing. We take pride in being a school where children build relationships, develop a strong sense of belonging, and foster a deep sense of community, all within the framework of our ROCCK values (Respect, Opportunity, Courage, Curiosity, and Kindness), with the support and guidance of our highly qualified staff.

Joining us in Year 8?

We have a small number of places available for Year 8 entry in September 2026.

“What’s good about the internet — and what are the risks?” 💬

Brook facilitators have been running PSHE workshops with our Year 7–12 pupils this term — exploring digital wellbeing, social media, body image, and relationships.
Pupils were engaged, honest, and brilliant ...throughout. 🌱

More sessions still to come this term. Watch this space.

Something small, but significant this week.

Rio stood up in assembly and played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the violin 🎻

She only started learning at the beginning of Year 2 — and already had the confidence to perform in front of her peers.

These are the moments ...that matter.

Not just the big outcomes, but the individual journeys — the quiet progress, the courage to try, the decision to step forward.

“All We Can Be” is about every child finding their own path, at their own pace.

This week, that looked like a simple melody… and a big moment of growth.

On 30 April, Aidan Sproat-Clements will be in New York for the Independent Schools Show, representing Alleyns Schools Group.

A chance to meet, ask thoughtful questions, and explore how a heritage-rich, forward looking education could support your child’s future.

What would you ...like to ask?

Last week we welcomed Paul Hannaford BEM 🥇 into school for a powerful drug awareness workshop with our Year 9–12 pupils.

Paul shared his personal journey — from a sporty teenager to the wrong crowd, and the life-changing consequences that followed. He spoke with unflinching honesty ...about gangs, weapons and addiction, and the courage it takes to take responsibility for your own path.

The pupils were extraordinary. They listened. They engaged. They reflected — showing a maturity and openness that sits at the heart of an Alleyn’s education.

💬 “It was very impactful, truthful and moving.”
💬 “I will never get myself caught up in drugs. It can spiral out of hand so quickly.”
💬 “The most powerful assembly we have ever had.”

At Alleyn’s, we talk about building character as much as academic success — and conversations like this, grounded in responsibility and courage, are a vital part of that journey.

Thank you Paul — these are the conversations that matter. 🙏

Flashback to three weeks ago when our fantastically talented thespians staged a truly memorable production of Wizard of Oz. We are sure anyone who was lucky enough to catch one of the performances would agree that it was a very special show, really bringing the magical world of Oz to life.
...There are too many people to recognise individually, so a massive congratulations to everyone who was involved in this amazing production as everyone on stage and behind the scenes did themselves, and the school, proud.
