Thinking On AI looks past the hype and the headlines. Where has this technology actually taken us so far? Where is it taking us next? And as machines become better at the things we thought were ours alone, what is left that is distinctly, irreplaceably human?

Jamie Bartlett is an author, journalist and broadcaster who has spent two decades reporting from the frontier of technology and society.
His books include The Dark Net, The People Vs Tech and the Sunday Times bestseller How to Talk to AI (2026), a BBC "Book You Need to Read in 2026".
He wrote and presented the BBC's chart-topping podcast The Missing Cryptoqueen and most recently the Radio 4 series Everything Is Fake, asking why fakery is now so often rewarded rather than punished.
